Contest Junkie's 2000th Post!

Time really flies, we are now at our 2000th post!

A BIG THANK YOU, to all our dear readers, supporting us, in whatever we do. Be it collaborative work such as the CHIC contest, or other in-house / company sponsored contest, we can always work towards our ultimate goal, because of your participation.

CJ has left me to write this 2000th post article, since CJ wrote the 888th post article. Honestly, I don't really have much to write about, so I'll write a little about my feelings and keep it short and sweet.

Contest Junkie has come a long way since the beginning and I've been a great fan of Contest Junkie since about 2 years ago, but only stepped up as a co-author since August 2009. The road for a contest blogger is never easy. One must deal with his/her regular day job, and then dig out some contest leads from all over the internet and post it on the blog. I admire CJ for keeping to this promise for so long. For the rest, they might have already quited long time ago.

I'm proud to be a contest blogger. Through contest blogger, I've shared tips to our readers to win contests. What makes my day is someone coming back, leaving a comment saying he or she has won something from my info. Nothing beats that.

As for myself, though I have plenty contest leads, I do not win as often as many might imagine. So when was the last time I won something? hmmm.... That would be January this year. However, that doesn't bother me much, because I know sharing is wining.

Lastly, I thank CJ for giving me the chance to blog here, and our readers in supporting me, be it at Contest Junkie or my recently opened Photography blog.

Attention! CHIC Snap-a-taxi contest participants!

Hi Chic Cab contest participants,

We will like to check with you guys about something and hopefully seek your understanding about it.

IF we were to win, is it ok if we deduct the cost of sending in the MMS from the prize money before we distribute the prize money? (One big IF there because winning is never guaranteed).

We have to admit that we didn't know there were 300 cabs to snaps in the first place (Our oversight) and that we could actually snap close to 300 cabs! (We certainly underestimated everyone's resourcefulness! :)

Each MMS costs $0.50. I am planning to send in about 300 MMS so that adds up to about
about $150. Minus the free MMS subscription, it still costs about $100.

I've finish editing and sending about 100+ pictures to CHIC, and I'll email them to ask for a confirmation. When they reply, I'll post a comment to let you guys know.

I will not update the list now, unless it is called for. Reason being, I'm busy, and the priority now is to send in the sorted entries, and the other entries can leave to sort later. The other 100+ entries will be sent in late May.
