How's everyone?

Busy joining contests?

If the contests posted here are not enough to distract you from school/work/other halves (You must be mad or very free or join contests for a living :) let me tell you another way in which you can hunt for even more contests to join.

Plenty of them can be found on Facebook.

If you haven't noticed by now, there are some folks who join every single damn contests that are out there on Facebook. You see their names often enough that you can actually remember them!

Now click on the profile of those folks, go see all the "Pages" that they are a fan of. Most of the pages are of companies who regularly hold contests, had run contests before or are currently holding contests! Open every single Page and add yourself as a fan of those pages. Now you are all set up. You'll be kept posted of all the contests these companies run and get even more distracted and busy than you already are.

Remember to pick those folks whose profile picture is anything but a human face. And also pick those who have only a couple of friends but are fans of many many pages. Obviously, the Facebook account is set up just to join contests so these folks are all the more focused and you know that the pages they add are definitely those that organise contests.

Some of them can actually be fans of 200 over pages! That's pretty crazy! Make me wonder if some folks really join contests for a living.

And now, you are not really going to add all these pages using your real Facebook account are you? The posts and status updates from all these companies will just cripple your newsfeed and drown out your real friends updates. And you don't want to keep sending out feeds to your real friends that you lurvve some company's products when you don't mean it. Plus it won't look too good if your colleagues find out that you are joining contests day and night and probably during office hours too! ;p

So hands up those who have already considered all those disadvantages and has set up another profile just to join contests?

Well, I have =)
